Helensburgh HEART is delighted to announce the launch of its latest “Giving Back” campaign, offering funding opportunities for local charities and community projects. From September 15 to October 15, 2024, individuals and groups in Helensburgh can submit their requests for financial support to help drive initiatives that will positively impact the community.
As part of Helensburgh HEART’s mission to make the town an even better place to live, all profits from local events are redistributed directly back into the community. The “Giving Back” campaign prioritises projects that can demonstrate a meaningful and measurable impact on Helensburgh and its residents.
Following a record breaking Beer and Gin Festival in April and a very exciting Wine Festival on the 14th of September, The team at HEART are delighted to be in a position to give back profits generated at those events.
Funding requests are particularly encouraged from charities and projects that aim to benefit a large number of people or that address important social or community needs. Whether it’s a grassroots organisation or a larger initiative, proposals should clearly explain how the funding will improve the quality of life in Helensburgh.
“We’re passionate about supporting initiatives that make a real difference,” said Mickael Paris, Chair of Heart. “We encourage applicants to highlight how their projects will benefit the town as a whole and reach as many people as possible. The more people a project impacts, the stronger the case for funding.”
Applications can be submitted via an online form, available on https://www.helensburghheart.com/giving-back . A selection committee will review all submissions, with successful applicants being notified by the end of October. This is just the first of several application windows planned throughout the year, providing ongoing opportunities for local causes to receive support.
The team is now focused on delivering its next event which is the most anticipated Helensburgh Fireworks on the 3rd of November at 5.30. More info here.
